The house / A sense of place

A sense of place.
A little less pace.

Northern coast, Portugal.

Somewhere
to simply be.

BRUMA begins with the idea of a small house that asks very little of the day. Rooms are arranged for rest, shared spaces for lingering, and the palette takes its cues from linen, timber and soft coastal light.

Every room and image explores a quieter kind of stay. Three distinct spaces remain connected through materials, light and small everyday gestures.

A considered simplicity

Materials that
hold the light.

Warm wood, blue shutters and handmade cups give the house its familiar rhythm. Chalky plaster catches the daylight. Linen offers texture without asking for attention. These materials repeat from room to room, giving each space its own character within a familiar whole.

The living room is for everyone: a shared table, somewhere comfortable to read, and no organised programme to keep up with.

How does the stay planner work?

The planner calculates nightly prices and creates a text file to save. The plan is an estimate, not a reservation.

What gives BRUMA its character?

Northern Portuguese light, warm wood, blue accents and three rooms with their own rhythm.

What about access and stairs?

Loft is upstairs. If you have particular access needs, clarify the room layout before making travel arrangements.
